Melanie Griffith looks amazing. In new photos shared earlier this week, the actress was photographed in Beverly Hills, wearing a stylish outfit that showcased her arm tattoo, which used to have a heart with the word “Antonio” in it. The tattoo dates back to her years with Antonio Banderas. After the couple split up, Griffith got the tattoo removed, covering it with a new one that’s a reference to her kids.
Griffith’s new tattoo reads the names of her children: “Alexander, Stella, Dakota, and Jesse.” The names are in the shape of intersecting lines, with them touching at different points.
Griffith shares her kids with Banderas, who’s the father of Stella, Steven Bauer, the father of Alexander, and Don Johnson, the father of Dakota and Jesse.
She was photographed in a Beverly Hills parking lot, wearing a cropped cream t-shirt that featured a Frida Kahlo print, with the Mexican artist wearing a shirt of her own that reads Daft Punk. Griffith completed the look with light-wash jeans, brown Birkenstocks, and lace gloves.
Her hair was styled spiky and blonde, completing the outfit with some cat-eyed sunglasses. According to photographers, she was seen heading to a spa.
Griffith and Banderas beautiful relationship
Griffith and Banderas were together for years, marrying in 1996 in London. They welcomed their daughter shortly after. The two filed for divorce in 2014, years after they married.
In the years since, Griffith has made it clear she has no interest in getting married again. “I really don’t think it’s relevant for anyone anymore,” she told InStyle, “but especially if you’re 60 and you have four kids and you’re living the life you’ve always wanted. Then why get married? It’s, like, I would love to fall in love and have a romance, a relationship, but I haven’t. I keep looking. I’ve had a couple of lovers but not a relationship.”
Earlier this year, the couple was photographed grabbing dinner together with their daughter Stella and her husband, Alex Gruszynski. Banderas and Griffith had their arms intertwined and were seen laughing together. Shortly after, Banderas shared a sweet post with his family.
“A lovely and fun moment yesterday in Los Angeles with my son-in-law Alex, my daughter Stella, and my ex-wife and lifelong friend, Melanie,” he wrote.
