Princess Charlene of Monaco brought royal glamour to the grid on Sunday in a Grecian-inspired gown. The royal, 48, was a Grecian goddess at the Monaco Grand Prix on 7 June in a sleeveless white dress which pooled at her feet.
Charlene looked timeless for the star-studded sports event in the V-neck maxi wrap dress, which was cinched at the waist with a thin brown belt. The chic dress is the perfect summertime inspiration with a flattering silhouette and timeless style.
The royal amped up the gown with modern accessories, including a bold sculptural wave necklace and a pair of oversized sunglasses on her face to block out the sunny Monaco weather. Charlene often wears her signature short blonde waves in an elegant twist or an up-do, and her recent outing was no different. Her hair was fashioned up neatly with the front sections tucked behind her ears.
Charlene was joined on the grid by her husband Prince Albert II of Monaco, who suited up in a navy jacket and grey trousers. While he dressed in formal attire for the race, Albert threw on a navy cap and a pair of sunglasses to make his trackside appearance a bit more casual.
Lady in red
Charlene is favouring the wrap style dress of late after wearing what appeared to be the same dress but in a vibrant red for her day at the F1 on Friday 5 June. While attending a practice session at the Circuit de Monaco ahead of the F1 Grand Prix, the royal wowed in a fitted V-neck dress with a pleated skirt, which fell to her ankles.
The dress featured a matching red belt at the waist with a gold buckle in the middle. Charlene paired her bold red look with matching coloured heels and a pair of statement sunglasses.
She switched up her usual hair styling by leaving her shoulder-length blonde locks out and parted to the side.
Stars on the grid
This year’s Monaco Grand Prix has attracted royals and A-list celebrities alike, including newcomer Kim Kardashian. The reality television star went Instagram official with British racing driver Lewis Hamilton in April – and now she’s turning up the heat on the grid with a slew of stylish trackside looks.
After stepping out in a black lace top and pair of jeans, Kim returned with a second glamorous look on Sunday. The star stunned in an asymmetrical figure-hugging dress with one long sleeve and styled her hair up in a messy bun that would make Pamela Anderson proud. Her sister Khloé Kardashian matched in a silky neutral-toned dress.
Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and her long-time husband Michael Douglas walked hand-in-hand as they arrived for the Grand Prix in matching navy blue looks on Sunday. Catherine wore a bold patterned jumpsuit with a sunhat while her husband opted for a classic polo shirt.
