The Belgian royals were among the guests as Isabel of Habsburg-Lorraine tied the knot with Carlos Gaytán de Ayala, bringing together two European royal houses.
Future Belgian queen Princess Elisabeth, 24, stunned in an emerald green pleated Maje dress as she posed alongside her parents, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, and her younger brother, Prince Gabriel.
She teamed it with a matching feathered headpiece and clutch bag and opted for nude pumps. Meanwhile, Queen Mathilde, 53, stood out in a red lace number.
Her siblings Prince Emmanuel, 20, and Princess Eleanore, 18, did not attend the nuptials, which took place at Jesuit Church in Vienna, Austria on Saturday.
Elisabeth graduated from Harvard in May, where she gained a Master’s in Public Policy. The future Queen of Belgium will reportedly undertake a sailing trip across the Atlantic Ocean later this year as part of a gap year, according to Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad.
A family wedding
The Belgian royals have close family connections to the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. King Philippe’s sister, Princess Astrid, is married to Prince Lorenz, Archduke of Austria-Este – a cadet branch of the House of Habsburg Lorraine.

Her husband, Carlos Gaytán de Ayala, is the son of Carlos María de Palacio y de Oriol and Teresa Gaytán de Ayala y Domínguez. Carlos, who is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity team at Mubadala Capital in London, descends from Spanish nobility.
The bride wore sentimental jewels
Isabel looked breathtaking in a white satin A-line wedding dress with a floral lace bodice, a high neckline and delicate short sleeves. Her tulle veil featured delicate floral embroidery and she wore her brunette locks in an elegant updo.

The bride also wore her mother’s pearl earrings that Maria sported for her own nuptials to the Archduke.
