For the outing, Queen Mathilde wore a romantic floral midi dress in soft shades of burgundy, sage green and ivory. The botanical print felt especially fitting for the agricultural setting while remaining polished enough for an official engagement.

Rather than leaving the dress loose, she defined the silhouette with a wide cognac leather belt, adding structure and creating a flattering waistline.

Layered over the dress was a cream linen blazer, a lightweight piece that instantly elevated the look while keeping it appropriate for a warm summer day.

Her accessories followed the same earthy color palette. The queen completed the outfit with tan leather espadrille wedges, a favorite among European royals during the warmer months thanks to their comfortable design and timeless appeal.

She also carried a woven raffia handbag featuring bamboo handles, adding another natural texture that complemented the countryside-inspired ensemble.

Oversized burgundy and gold statement earrings brought a refined pop of color, while oversized sunglasses completed the effortlessly chic daytime look.

Her beauty look remained classic and understated. Queen Mathilde styled her blonde hair in her signature softly voluminous blowout and opted for natural, radiant makeup that allowed the floral dress to remain the focal point.

The appearance came as the Belgian royal couple toured the final preparations for the landmark agricultural exhibition, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.

During the visit, they met with farmers, veterinary and agronomy students, and female agricultural entrepreneurs being recognized as part of the United Nations’ International Year of the Woman Farmer. This year’s edition also highlights organic farming and the growing role of artificial intelligence in agriculture.
