Alex Cooper is addressing the Alix in the room. The media girlies have been the talk of TikTok with a rumoured fallout with Alix Earle, who allegedly has been engaging with shady videos about Cooper. On Monday, the Call Her Daddy host posted a video to TikTok calling out Earle directly.
After months of quiet speculation, Earle said, “Honestly, it’s embarrassing to participate in this.” “I’m seeing the videos, I’m getting tagged, I see the DMs, I see the comments… so at this point it just feels long overdue,” she continued, before calling Earle out directly: “Alix Earle – hey girl.”
Earle’s TikTok replies and reposts have been making their way to Cooper, including one calling the interviewer “so awful” for sharing people’s stories at their lowest. “The passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things -I gotta call you out here,” Cooper said. “You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you gotta say about me.”
The tension between the two has been building for a while. It dates back to March 2025, when Earle’s podcast Hot Mess exited Unwell – Cooper’s media network that Earle had been one of the first creators to join.
The episodes stop coming out, and Earle’s fans blamed Cooper. At the time, Cooper publicly clarified that Earle’s situation “had nothing to do with Unwell,” “Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. Idk why she can’t/what’s going on. Unwell gave her everything back she owns her IP,” she said.
And in case there was any confusion about whether something behind the scenes was preventing Earle from speaking, Cooper shut that down too: “There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?”
According to Cooper, that’s exactly the issue. “I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from others— going online for you,” she said bluntly. “I know what happened, and so do you. So talk.” “Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth,” she said. “Unless you actually have something to say, I’m out. This is over.”
The video got reposted on Twitter, and the reactions were swift. Several people pointed out their resemblance, writing things like “wait.. they’re not the same person?” and “Meanwhile, I thought they were the same person this whole time.”
“This is getting messy. Alex is tired of the passive-aggressive likes and reposts, fair enough, but calling her out like this on video just makes both of them look childish. Just hash it out privately or move on, nobody wins the public shade game,” another person wrote.
