Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may be planning one of the biggest celebrity weddings ever, if a new report is to be believed.
According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, the couple have chosen New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden as the location where they’ll exchange vows.
The insider claimed the pair decided to “embrace the spectacle” by hosting their wedding at the legendary venue, which is typically known for major concerts and sporting events. While Madison Square Garden can accommodate as many as 22,000 guests, it’s unclear how many people would ultimately be invited to witness the ceremony.
Other Venue Options Were Reportedly Considered
Before allegedly landing on Madison Square Garden, the couple were said to be exploring other high-profile New York locations.
A source told the Daily Mail that Swift and Kelce had considered Casa Cipriani, the exclusive private members club in Manhattan’s Financial District, as a possible venue.
Although Madison Square Garden is reportedly the frontrunner, the insider claimed Casa Cipriani could still play a role in the festivities as the site of a more intimate celebration.
The source also alleged that the NYPD has already begun discussing security plans surrounding the venue ahead of the wedding, which is reportedly expected to take place on Friday, July 3.
Guests Are Apparently Still Guessing the Location
Rumors surrounding the wedding venue have been swirling for weeks.
Last month, another source told the Daily Mail that the couple were searching for a large “museum” or “arena-like venue” somewhere in Manhattan.
Although guests have reportedly received save-the-date notices, the exact location has allegedly not been revealed. According to previous reports, invitees may not learn where the wedding is being held until the morning of July 3.
One guest speculated that the ceremony could take place inside one of New York City’s famous luxury hotels.
“I get that, she doesn’t want everyone knowing where she is getting married until the last minute for security reasons,” a source said.
“Now it is one big guessing game, everyone is wondering where it will be. Probably a massive hotel like the Waldorf Astoria that has amazing security and access,” added the friend.

Some Guests Reportedly Frustrated Over Plus-One Rules
Beyond the venue mystery, another reported detail has sparked discussion among invitees.
According to the Daily Mail, some guests were surprised to learn they would not be allowed to bring a plus-one.
“My invite did not let me bring a plus one,” a guest who did not want to be named told us.

“I mean, what am I supposed to do? Go alone? That is so awkward. I don’t think I am going to attend because I don’t want to go by myself and I am not sure I will know too many people there. I mean, sorry, I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!”
Not Everyone Has the Same Rules
The guest also suggested that some attendees have been given more flexibility than others.
“I know Selena Gomez is bringing her husband, Benny Blanco, so she has a plus one, but I am not allowed to have a plus one because I am a single woman. I get it, the venue can probably allow for only so many people, but it’s not the best feeling.”
Despite feeling disappointed, the invitee emphasized that there are no hard feelings toward Swift.
The guest added that she “loves” her pal Swift and wishes her “the best” and doesn’t want to sound like a “major complainer” as she “gets it.”
