Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner have no issues with each other. At last night’s explosive Knicks game, where the New York team made a historic comeback in game four, Swift and Jenner were among the thousands of attendees at Madison Square Garden. In clips shared on social media, the two were seen greeting and hugging each other.
Following the game’s conclusion, Swift and Jenner spotted each other on the court. When their eyes met, Swift waved and said hello, with Jenner approaching her for a hug.
“That was crazy!” said Jenner, referencing the wild game. Swift put a hand on her chest and pretended to faint. “That was crazy!” Jenner said again.
While Jenner is a common sight at Madison Square Garden, attending numerous games alongside her boyfriend and Knicks superfan Timothee Chalamet, this marks Swift’s first appearance on this round of NBA Finals. She attended the game alongside her friends Este and Alana Haim, members of the band Haim, with the three wearing matching shirts.

Swift and Jenner’s hug is important due to the history that exists between Swift and Jenner’s family. A decade ago, in 2016, Swift was immersed in a complicated drama with Kim Kardashian and her then-husband, Kanye West. At the time, Kardashian shared a phone call recording on social media, with the clip suggesting that Swift had given West approval to feature her name on his song “Famous.”
Swift denied the claims and said she’d never heard the song before it was released. Later, a recording of the full conversation was shared, revealing that Swift was telling the truth. While both women have moved past the issue, it remains a sore topic, with Kardashian and Swift never recovering their friendship.
