Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman had an almost run-in at one of the biggest cinematic events of the year. The movie stars were in attendance at this year’s CinemaCon, where some of the biggest films are promoted and teased. The pair unexpectedly matched their looks.
On separate appearances on the red carpet, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were photographed wearing all-black outfits. Cruise wore a suit made up of a button-up shirt, pants, a jacket, and dress shoes. He unbuttoned the first button of the shirt and opted for no tie, giving the outfit a more laidback approach.
In the case of Kidman, she wore a long black dress with a tight fit on the top and a looser fit in the skirt, made out of translucent material. She completed the outfit with matching heels and her blonde hair styled straight, showcasing some bangs.

Since that initial collaboration, the pair made two more films together, “Far and Away” and “Eyes Wide Shut.” In the latter, Cruise and Kidman played a couple going through a marital crisis. They were married for 11 years and adopted two children: Connor and Isabella.

Their appearance at CinemaCon was related to two of their most anticipated projects. Cruise is the star of “Digger,” directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, marking Cruise’s first project in some time that’s not defined by action and his skills as a stuntman.
In the case of Kidman, she’s promoting “Practical Magic 2,” the sequel to the beloved ’90s film starring herself and Sandra Bullock.
