Wyatt Russell just celebrated his 40th birthday and his life looks even more like a movie than it did in the last decade.
The Thunderbolts actor, whose parents are Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, was honored by his wife of seven years, Meredith Hagner. The couple are parents to sons, Buddy, five, and Boone, two.
In a sweet Instagram post, the Bad Monkey actress wrote: “Oh, baby. Happy happy birthday. The oldest youngest man ive ever met. A deep well of soul and and roots that sink so deep, that hold so much. strong sharp edges and warm heart. A deep seeded wisdom that feels like it was passed down from many lives lived.”
She continued: “Falling in love with you was like taking a deep breath. Im so happy to have gotten to know so many yous over the last 12 years and i look forward to the many more yous to be. May you sink deeper into yourself, babe.”
“Hope this year for you brings more open door days playing guitar loud in the living room, to building your violins, skiing with your little boys to whom you are their everything, laughing with your parents and siblings. I love you. We love you. Happy happiest birthday,” Meredith added.

“When you become a parent, you realize what your parents feel about you,” Wyatt explained of his fatherhood journey. “And so you realize that all they want you to be is happy. They want you to live a fulfilled life, and that’s all you care about for your kids. And so I’m imagining that’s all my parents care about.”
