Congratulations are in order for Law & Order star Odelya Halevi, who is expecting her first baby with her husband, Aaron Mazor. The 37-year-old, who tied the knot with her luxury real estate agent husband in 2025, shared in a statement to People that their family will expand to three when their baby girl is born in December.
The actress revealed that she discovered she was pregnant right after wrapping the 25th season of Law & Order, and had largely ignored the signs and symptoms until then.
“I had spent the entire week casually wandering into the producers’ office and helping myself to all the chocolate they had sitting out, which is very unlike me,” she told the outlet. “I remember thinking, ‘Who is this person?’ And then it hit me.”
Odelya, who portrays Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun in the long-running show, explained that the onslaught of hormones affected her emotions in ways she never considered. “The thing that I wasn’t fully prepared for was how amplified and intense my emotions would be,” she said. “I barely recognized myself. Almost like having a split personality.”
Odelya recalled that when she and Aaron moved into their new apartment after a lengthy renovation, she “suddenly hated everything about it” and would cry at the drop of a hat.
“I remember when the movers accidentally broke a plant I’d ‘raised’ for four years, I cried hysterically, like I had lost a loved one,” she added. “Then I started laughing because I realized how dramatic I was being, but I still couldn’t stop crying.”
“My husband found me sitting in a dark room all by myself, mourning the loss…Under any other circumstances I would have just gone out and bought another one, but I genuinely needed about a week to recover from the ‘travesty’,” the brunette beauty admitted.
As for her pregnancy cravings, the star shared that she had taken a particular liking to oatmeal, after avoiding the food for years. Odelya and Aaron couldn’t be happier to start their family, as she told People. “It’s something we both really wanted so deeply. I remember shaking [with] excitement [when I found out],” she said. “It was so incredibly intimate and special.”

Knowing there’s this little life growing inside of me, and now actually feeling her move, creates a connection that’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced,” she explained.

Odelya continued: “I can’t wait to meet my little girl. I already feel like I know her in some ways, and I’m so excited to finally see her face, find out who she looks like and get to know what I can only imagine will be a big personality.” Odelya and Aaron tied the knot in May 2025, almost two years after they got engaged in a stunning French village in Provence.
