The World Cup is sadly nearing its end. Still, we’re in the midst of the most exciting stage of the tournament. Today, Spain progressed into the semi-finals, where they’ll play against France. Tomorrow, England will play against Norway. On Sunday, Argentina will play against Switzerland, determining the tournament’s remaining four teams.
Reminders of Him (Peacock)
The new Colleen Hoover adaptation is now on Peacock. It follows a young mother returning to her hometown after serving 5 years in jail. As with any Colleen Hoover story, there’s a very dark twist. The protagonist was sent to jail after she was found guilty in the car accident that killed her boyfriend and father of her baby.
Little House on the Prairie (Netflix)
Netflix’s new series is an adaptation of the beloved novel, following the Ingalls family and their relocation from Wisconsin to a free plot of land in Kansas.
The Five-Star Weekend (Peacock)
“The Five-Star Weekend” stars a crazy cast that includes Jennifer Garner, Chloe Sevigny, Regina Hall, D’Arcy Carden, and Gemma Chan as a group of friends who come together to support each other following the death of one of their husbands.
The Long Walk (HBO Max)
Stephen King‘s adaptation of his dystopian novel is now streaming on HBO Max. The series is set in a Hunger Games-like future where there’s a televised walking contest involving boys, with the winner taking home a massive cash prize. The losers die, of course.
The Man Will Burn (HBO Max)
The HBO documentary series follows the infamous Burning Man festival, with the documentary diving deep into its history, mystique, and scandals in a four-episode series.
The Evil Dead franchise (HBO Max)
“Evil Dead Burn” is coming out this weekend in theaters. If you’re a fan of the franchise and want a refresher, or if you’ve never seen the movies before and want to get a taste of what’s in stores in theaters, the full Evil Dead franchise is available on HBO Max.
