Nearly a year after Hulk Hogan’s death, his daughter Brooke Hogan is revealing why she still isn’t convinced she knows the full story. During a pair of recent appearances on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show, Brooke spoke candidly with one of her father’s longtime friends about the questions she continues to have surrounding his death in July 2025, and what followed.
Hogan died in July 2025 at age 71, with his death later ruled an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. Following Hulk’s death, an autopsy was performed on the wrestling icon, but the results have still not been released publicly.
Brooke suggested she’s still searching for answers and revealed that a recent exchange regarding the autopsy process left her uneasy. “Just asking me to speak on the phone because you don’t want to put it in writing tells me everything I need to know — is what it feels like. I could be totally wrong,” she said while discussing recent conversations surrounding the case.
Brooke also claimed that she was told by the chief of police that the doctor who conducted the independent autopsy was still making changes to the report months after her father’s death. “Apparently, the doctor who did the independent autopsy was making changes as of Sunday,” Brooke shared in the episode released a month ago.
Bubba went on to claim that the autopsy wasn’t performed until after Hulk had already been embalmed, adding that Brooke and others close to the wrestling star still have questions about the official account of his death.
“The guy’s been dead since July 25th or whatever the hell last year,” Bubba said. “They never initially did an autopsy. They only did an autopsy after he was already embalmed.”
He continued, “Just because Brooke and a few others were raising all kinds of hell because Brooke doesn’t necessarily — or other people don’t necessarily — believe how this has necessarily been reported, and nothing tells the story better than an autopsy.”
Brooke also pointed to several details that continue to bother her. “There were cameras in the house right where he died,” she said. “If there’s nothing, then just show it.” She later added, “The autopsy, the quick cremation, just all of it.”
In a follow-up interview released last week, Brooke doubled down on those concerns, questioning why changes would still be made to an autopsy nearly a year after her father’s death. “Why are we making changes to an autopsy after the guy’s been dead for 10, 11 months?” she asked.
At another point, Brooke said she believes there are too many unanswered questions surrounding the circumstances. “If it’s so on the up and up, then shut me up. Just show it to me,” she said. “There’s so many abnormalities and unusual things that happened in this case that make you go, ‘Hmm.'”
Brooke also raised questions about a nurse who she claims was present on the day of her father’s death. According to Brooke, she has been unable to contact the individual despite her efforts to piece together what happened during Hogan’s final moments.
“You can’t get a hold of him. Nobody can get a hold of this guy that was there,” Brooke said. She went on to claim the nurse was the only other person at the home besides Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, and suggested she had been told he was elsewhere in the house when her father stopped breathing.
“He was the only other person that was there the day my dad died. And Sky was the only person there,” Brooke said, before adding that she had heard the nurse was “upstairs fixing the toilet or doing something like that.”
According to Brooke, “while he’s gone, my dad just passes, and Sky is the one to notice that he stops breathing,” another detail she said continues to leave her with unanswered questions.
