As a longtime muse of the house, Dakota Johnson’s role as the Global Ambassador for Valentino Beauty and the face of their new Vendetta fragrance is rightfully earned.
The actress graced London’s Vinyl Factory in Soho on September 24 to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new Vendetta fragrances. For the occasion, Dakota slipped into an embellished gown that may be one of her most striking looks to date.
The orange dress featured a flowing silhouette, a boat neckline with three-quarter length sleeves, and a maxi length skirt. The gown was adorned with intricate silver and purple sequin embellishments that bedazzled the zig-zag embroidery crafted onto the garment. Dakota styled the scene-stealing dress with open-toe heels and dainty jewelry.
Dakota’s brunette locks were styled into soft waves framed by full bangs while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and a glossy nude lip. The actress was joined at the event by a star-studded guest list that included the likes of Bel Powley, Douglas Booth, Yasmin Finney, Joe Locke, Lennon Gallagher and Anaïs Gallagher.
The space was transformed into an immersive after-dark experience inspired by the classic American drive-in. The room was bathed in sultry red light while two cars were positioned at the centre – their trunks filled with Vendetta perfume bottles. The beats of DJ Emerald Rose Lewis echoed in the room as fashion’s most faithful enjoyed an evening of sensual spritz.

For the occasion, Dakota slipped into a romantic ensemble from Valentino’s fall 2026 collection titled Interferenze by Alessandro Michele. The look consisted of a black velvet jacket styled with a basque skirt that fell into a transparent underlayer crafted from chiffon and trimmed with lace. The blazer, which featured a deep neckline, was left open to expose Dakota’s silhouette.
