The first photos of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding preparations have dropped after reports circulated that their big day would be held inside Madison Square Garden in the heart of New York City.
MSG was abuzz with activity on Monday as a sea of trucks and equipment filed into the stadium, guided by a bevy of people. The loading dock appeared to be filled with crews working to ready the place for a major event. The new photos have surfaced amid reports that Taylor and Travis are set to walk down the aisle on the July 4th weekend in front of 1,000 of their nearest and dearest.
According to The New York Times, the “Love Story” singer has rented the venue for a multi-day event, with a smaller ceremony planned for July 2 in front of 100 guests and a larger celebration the following day.
A permit has been filed to shut down the streets surrounding MSG with an authorization to erect a canopy or tent outside the arena for 500-999 guests. The permit was filed by event planning company Winick Productions for July 2-4. Additionally, there are no scheduled events at MSG between June 29 and July 6.
As the big day draws closer, speculation has only grown as to where and when the wedding will take place. Taylor and Travis have reportedly taken extreme measures to ensure that the details of their nuptials won’t be leaked by guests.
Travis’s close friend and Tight End University co-founder, George Kittle, shared with Entertainment Tonight that he had no idea about the location of the wedding despite being on the invite list. “I actually asked Travis last night, and he laughed at me, so,” George said. “I’m half expecting there to just be a jumbo jet on a runway and they put us on a plane somewhere.”

They also speculated that it could be held at the nearby Ocean House resort, but this rumor was quickly shut down by the venue’s wedding planner, Tara Guérard, on social media.
“I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the Ocean House in Rhode Island! Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend! Boo! Kindest, @taraguerard,” she wrote.
