Berry looked relaxed and stylish as she walked with her loved ones before heading to dinner. The actress wore a silky dark midi dress layered with a fitted cardigan, pairing the look with oversized sunglasses, pointed heels, and delicate jewelry.
The actress’s mother also coordinated beautifully with the relaxed aesthetic of the outing, wearing an all-black ensemble accented with silver jewelry. The Mother’s Day appearance arrives during a particularly strong era for Berry.

Berry and Van Hunt have kept much of their relationship private, but they have decided to make the big step after Van proposed to Berry. The Academy Award winner officially confirmed she is engaged to her longtime partner during a Feb. 6 appearance on The Tonight Show. The “Monster’s Ball” star told Jimmy Fallon. “It’s going around that I, that my guy Van Hunt—I’ve been dating him now for almost six years—well, there’s some confusion that he asked to marry me and I said no.”
“However, I did not say no,” Halle affirmed. “We just don’t have a date, but of course I said yes, I would marry him!” As Fallon congratulated her, the X-Men star added with a smile, “He did put a little ring on it.”

You know, maybe you can encourage her.”
At the time, Halle explained her hesitation had nothing to do with doubt about their relationship. “Well, I’ve been married three times,” Halle said. She was previously married to David Justice, Eric Benét, and Olivier Martinez. “Van has been married once, and so no, we don’t feel like we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don’t,” she added.
