The Grammy-nominated music producer and songwriter unveiled a half-shaved head on June 21 while promoting his upcoming self-help book, “Fck Failure.” Known for his signature curly hair, Blanco revealed the surprising transformation in a TikTok video that quickly caught attention across social media.
Dressed in a black T-shirt layered with multiple gold chains, Blanco appeared both amused and slightly stunned by his new look as he showed off the freshly shaved side of his head. “I’m just a guy with a new head of hair,” he joked in the clip.
Adding to the humor, Blanco included a caption that poked fun at the extreme makeover. “Pov: u just shaved half ur head so people buy ur book,” he wrote over the video.
The clip concluded with Blanco proudly holding up a copy of his latest project that explores lessons learned from setbacks and career challenges. The book arrives less than a year after the release of his 2024 cookbook, “Open Wide,” proving the producer is expanding his creative reach far beyond music.

Blanco has spent much of the year balancing music, publishing projects, and playful social media appearances. The producer, known for collaborations with some of the industry’s biggest stars, including Justin Bieber, recently appeared in a humorous Instagram video with actress Jennifer Aniston. The clip was created to showcase products from Aniston’s haircare brand.

The makeover session continued inside Aniston’s expansive walk-in closet, where she applied LolaVie’s heat-protecting detangler and leave-in conditioner to Blanco’s curls. The results impressed the music producer. “It feels the softest it’s ever felt,” Blanco said after the treatment.
Selena Gomez Joins the Fun
The video also featured a surprise appearance from Selena Gomez, Blanco’s wife, who added her own comedic twist to the beauty-focused collaboration. Gomez explained that she had stopped by to deliver Aniston some gifts from her beauty company, Rare Beauty. However, the visit quickly turned into a playful shopping spree inside Aniston’s wardrobe.
As Gomez browsed through racks of designer clothing, she jokingly asked where the “give-away” pile was while holding up a pair of stylish blazers. Meanwhile, Blanco wandered toward Aniston’s shoe collection and attempted to squeeze into a pair of open-toe Jimmy Choo sandals.
Before leaving, Gomez jokingly offered a trade. “We’ll just trade you Rare,” she said as Blanco handed Aniston a tiny tote bag filled with beauty products.
Selena can’t live without Benny
The singer, actress, and beauty entrepreneur shared a touching Instagram carousel filled with never-before-seen snapshots from her relationship with Blanco. “Distance means so little when someone means so much…. @itsbennyblanco mish you bb 💙,” Gomez wrote in the caption.
The post featured snaps of intimate moments from throughout their relationship. The carousel included candid vacation photos, cozy everyday moments, celebrations, memories from their wedding weekend, and even a childhood photo of Blanco.
