Jennifer Garner proves even Hollywood stars have to scoop poop while walking her dog

Jennifer Garner has had a busy week balancing mom duties and dog mom duties. Last week, she and Ben Affleck were spotted taking their eldest daughter, Violet, to the ER. A few days later, she was photographed taking her dog on a walk. 

The 54-year-old was seen walking her white Labrador through the neighborhood, carrying a leash in one hand and dog waste bags in the other.

Garner kept things sporty and comfortable, wearing black leggings with yellow stripes, a loose white T-shirt, pink running shoes, a red baseball cap, and oversized sunglasses.

At one point, she stopped to clean up after her four-legged child, proving she’s just as dedicated to the gross dog mom responsibilities as she is to parenting her three human children.

Judging by the sporty outfit, it was the same day she was photographed spending time with Violet. The college student is recovering from what looks like a leg, ankle, or foot injury.

The mother-daughter duo appeared to be in high spirits despite the injury, laughing as Violet maneuvered her knee scooter while wearing a medical boot.

But Violet and the dog aren’t the only ones getting mom’s attention. She was spotted shopping in Santa Monica with Fin Affleck on Monday.

They visited Farmshop, with the 13 Going on 30 star keeping up with her casual style, wearing a grey t-shirt and black sweats. 

Aside from their urgent care visit, Garner was also spotted last month grabbing lunch with Ben in matching blue looks. Naturally, their outing without the kids sent headlines ablaze.

But their coparenting style and friendship are probably what make their family dynamic work so well. They split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage, officially divorcing in 2018.

In January, she shared rare insight into the split, telling Marie Claire, “The fact of it is what was hard. The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard.” “Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard,” she continued.  

Garner also opened up about their co-parenting and how happy she is with their current partnership. While talking about the things in her life that surprise her, she said, “That I’m able to co-parent at this point in time with peace and equanimity and a partnership that I didn’t know I would ever get back to.”

 “I think it’s important for women to know, when they think, ‘Oh, I’ll never see that, I’ll never have that feeling, I’ll never be friends with this person again,’ [that] time is the opportunity,” she told the outlet.
