Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker are making it clear that the only thing that would ever end their marriage is death. The couple’s fourth wedding anniversary was last week, and to celebrate, they added a custom piece to their love story.
On Monday, they debuted matching gold rings that are very on brand for their gothic romance aesthetic. The Poosh founder shared a close look at the custom pieces on her Instagram story, writing “his and hers” with a lack heart, tulip, and red heart emoji.
The large gold rings were created by London-based Cece Jewellery and featured intricate engraving with subtle pops of color. Across the top were the words “Till Death Do Us Part” written in script, while the center showed two skeletons staring at each other, surrounded by small diamonds and stars.
Another side of the ring featured a flaming heart with the initials “TB” and “KB,” a nod to the couple’s married names.
The jewelry reveal came just days after the pair celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. Kourtney and Travis officially tied the knot in a Santa Barbara courthouse ceremony on May 15, 2022, before their lavish multi-day Italian wedding celebration in Portofino one week later on May 22.
The Dolce & Gabbana-sponsored wedding became one of the most talked-about celebrity ceremonies of the year, with gothic imagery, and the now-iconic veil Kourtney wore embroidered with the Virgin Mary, inspired by one of Travis’ tattoos.
The phrase “Till Death Do Us Part” also holds significance for the couple. It was the title of their Hulu wedding special, Til Death Do Us Part Kourtney & Travis, which documented the lead-up to their multiple ceremonies and moments with family and friends.
Last week, Kourtney marked the anniversary with a simple but sentimental Instagram post featuring photos from their wedding day, captioned, “5.22.22 forever.”
The couple’s love story
The couple is a classic friends-to-lovers story. They were neighbors in Calabases for years, and they’ve been spotted hanging out as far back as 2018.
Travis denied rumors of a romance in 2019, but 2 years later, in January 2021, they confirmed their love. Then it was non-stop PDA moments for the couple.
They’ve since become a blended family. Kourtney shares Mason, Penelope, and Reign with ex Scott Disick while Travis is the dad to Landon, Alabama, and Atiana De La Hoya, whom he adopted during his marriage to Shanna Moakler.
They welcomed their first child together in 2023 when they became parents to Rocky. The 47-year-old was open about her IVF journey and fertility struggles, making the arrival of Rocky even more emotional.
Earlier this month, for Mother’s Day, he shared an adorable carousel on IG dedicated to his queen, writing in the caption, “Happy Birthday, my beautiful wife. I love you forever and ever.” “Thank you for being such an amazing woman, an incredible wife, and the best mom to our humans. I feel so grateful to spend this life with you,” he continued.
