Queen Mary of Denmark is making a case for one of fashion’s most enduring prints.
The Danish royal stepped out in Copenhagen on Tuesday, September 22, looking effortlessly polished in a black-and-white polka-dot dress as she attended the presentation of the 2026 Teaching Prize at the Copenhagen Opera House.
Mary’s midi dress delivered a sophisticated take on the classic print. Tiny white dots covered the black design, while a fitted bodice gave way to a beautifully pleated skirt that moved as she made her arrival.
Elbow-length sleeves and a round neckline kept the silhouette refined, but it was the oversized gold-tone buttons that really elevated the look.

Her beauty look was equally classic. The Queen wore her brunette hair loose in soft, glossy waves with a center part, while her makeup featured defined eyes, rosy cheeks and a natural pink lip.
